This was done through promoting both environmental improvement and conservation practices by educating, encourage and support local populations in Environmental practices, Art and Culture development, Education Support for Environment Conservation, Water sources protection and Community livelihoods improvement by working with and for the target communities.

In additional, project enhanced skills and knowledge to 10 primary schools on environment education and managed to form 10 ECO-Education Clubs which comprised 7450 Students. Through this, 600 fruit trees and 400 shade trees have been planted and hence school environment is attractive.  On the other hand, organization established nursery trees of Orange, Guava, Avocado, and pine trees; of which 5000 tree seedlings were distributed to 2000 community members and schools.

More education campaign and awareness on environmental conservation, protection of native trees and forest management in village level has been conducted in Kazuramimba and Uvinza wards. Additionally, 30 villagers and 5 forest officers were trained collecting and conserving native tree seeds. As the result community have native seed banks at village level.
